Really have enjoyed this semester doing digital fine art photography, I have found that there are so many different ideas that you can explore. I started with the thought of having my theme as one purely based on nature and the many abstract things we might find in our world. My final theme for this folio is on nature still, however I decided to take a typography approach and look at the species of flowers and how they might change over time.
These are some photos I am planning on looking at using for my final folio. I am hoping to find some more ‘bell’ flowers to photograph before the final presentation in order to continue looking at the idea of typography. With the pink flower, I have taken previous photographs of when the flower was full of life and later on taken photographs of the flowers dying and dead.
I think for a couple of weeks I had no inspiration, which led to no motivation towards taking photographs. Now however with the sun shining and doing what I love, I was happy to find that I was once again taking photographs of some things I found interesting outside, leading towards my final folio of nature.
After today’s class of taking a 3 portrait shots and making quite an interesting photo, I have decided that if possible i will try and make some more of these, this time using different subjects, I quite enjoyed playing with new tools on photo shop
